I Was Introduced To Chiropractic At An Early Age
I was first introduced to chiropractic thanks to my dad, Dr. William Laughlin. While he was in chiropractic school and upon graduation, he would adjust my spine to help me stay healthy. I would bounce back quickly from illnesses, thanks to each adjustment!

Following in my dad’s footsteps didn’t come right away. I attended Wichita State University in Wichita, Kansas and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Print Journalism. After graduation, I worked as a sportswriter for two years at the Hobbs News-Sun in Hobbs, New Mexico.

It was a fantastic job, but due to the goals my wife Kathleen and I had at that time, I decided to take a new career path. We talked about me going back to school to become a chiropractor, and the rest is history!

I Enjoy Offering Chiropractic Care To Patients Of All Ages

Kathleen and I moved to Texas in 2007, where I attended Parker College of Chiropractic (now Parker University). After graduating in 2011, I worked as an associate doctor in Ohio before moving back to Kansas to open a practice in Overland Park. In Sept. 2014, our family relocated to McKinney, Texas. I joined The Spinal Decompression & Chiropractic Center in May 2015.

I enjoy offering chiropractic care to patients of all ages at SDCC. The primary adjusting technique we use offers patients a safe, gentle adjustment to their spine without any twisting or popping. Adjusting with the Activator instrument is something I specialize in as I have advanced training with Activator Methods. Each year I serve as an Associate Clinical Instructor to help train other doctors in how to better serve their patients with the Activator Methods technique.

Outside Of The Office

Away from the office, I enjoy spending time with Kathleen going on walks, playing frisbee, dancing, visiting museums, and watching the hit British TV series “Doctor Who.” Being a native Nebraskan and a graduate of Wichita State, I am a huge Nebraska football fan and a big Shocker basketball fan!

Kathleen and I are active members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and love to serve at church and at home.
